Launch the Anand Kaaraj online learning pilot

A web-based Anand Kaaraj course is live for a small learner cohort, with structured progress, checkpoints, feedback and completion evidence.

The outcome

A web-based Anand Kaaraj course is live for a small learner cohort, with structured progress, checkpoints, feedback and completion evidence.

What volunteers will do

Work with the Basics of Sikhi content team to turn the existing course into 5 to 8 short modules, then build the web learning experience using Next.js, Supabase, Firebase, Google Cloud Platform and Vercel. Create a reusable lesson format for video, key points, notes, reflection prompts and checkpoints. Implement enrolment, progress tracking, completion evidence and learner feedback. Test the complete learner journey across modern browsers and document the workflow so another volunteer can operate and extend it. Basics of Sikhi will supply and approve all teaching material, Gurbani references and course copy.

What completion looks like

The Anand Kaaraj web app is deployed on Vercel using Next.js, with Supabase supporting learner data and progress and Firebase or Google Cloud Platform supporting the required platform services. A real cohort can enrol and complete the course in a web browser, progress and drop-off are measurable, feedback and completion evidence work, and the technical and admin handover is documented.
